Air Powered Cars
Powering a car with compressed air is fairly new in terms of use. Not many people would even think of trying to do this. Air has no explosive properties and needs to be prepared before using. ie – compressed. Cars are being produced in France that are powered with three tanks of compressed air. These tanks are linked together and provide around 200kms of motoring. The performance is not ground breaking, but does provide zero emissions driving. The developer has been working on the compressed air theory for more than ten years. Being a former Formula 1 Engine Builder has given him the financial freedom and technical knowledge to get to the stage he’s at. He has produced a dozen or so prototypes that all operate solely on compressed air.
Now, here in Australia, another French developer has produced a Rotary type engine that also runs on compressed air. He has totally redesigned the engine into a compact and light weight power house. The engine will safely and comfortably perform all tasks required. It only takes a couple of minutes to refuel and again it’s emissions a ZERO.
Here is the video of both inventors. The video was produced here in Australia by the ‘Beyond’ group.
